"Identify your problems, but give your power and energy to solutions."
- Tony Robbins
Too often we focus on the WHAT instead of the WHY. The WHY is where the solution can become reality. We all have our own unique WHY so let us discover yours and put the ENERGY and POWER into the SOLUTION so that it can become your reality!
-Dr. John Fraser
Having suffered my fair share of injuries during football, track, strength training and jiu-jitsu, I quickly became intrigued by the various treatment and rehabilitation protocols I encountered. As a result, I immersed myself in Sports Medicine and the many different training and rehab protocols, lifting techniques, along with lifestyle management to achieve my goal of faster recovery and better athletic performance in the wake of injury. Downtime and being forced out of the activities I love is just maddening to me and this provided the necessary motivation to focus on solutions not excuses.
I have been involved in various areas of Sports Medicine since 2002. This led me to Athletic Training/Sports Medicine at Quinnipiac University before receiving my Doctor of Chiropractic with Advanced Clinical Proficiency from the Southern California University of Health Sciences. Today I continue to deepen my knowledge in all areas of advanced sports injuries and human performance.
The complexity of the human body and improving performance requires a thorough understanding of the mechanics involved. I ventured into a post-doctorate Fascia Specialization Fellowship emphasizing advanced anatomy and biomechanics with Dr. Guy Voyer, Full Body and Nerve Entrapment Certification in Active Release Technique, Graston, while also doing coursework with The Prague School of Athletic Development.
My experience has shown that both the exercise and rehab components are vital for the most efficient possible physical recovery, and are either neglected, not specifically addressed or not progressed sufficiently. Utilizing these crucial components in the treatment and healing process allows me to meet the needs of the general public as well as top-level high school, collegiate, and professional athletes in the NHL, NFL, MLB, and PGA tour.
